Finale
A personal music player for Android Automotive OS that streams from a Jellyfin media server you provide.
Last updated 6 July 2026
The short version
We don't want your data. Finale talks to exactly one server — the Jellyfin server you point it at — and nothing else. No ads, no analytics, no trackers, no accounts on our end, nothing phoned home. If it's not on your server, Finale doesn't have it.
What the app handles
- Your server address and login. To connect, Finale stores your Jellyfin server URL and an authentication token in the device's account storage. These stay on the device and are used only to reach the server you configured.
- Your library. Album, artist, track, and artwork details are fetched from your Jellyfin server to browse and play your music, and cached on the device so playback stays fast and reliable.
Diagnostic logs
Finale has an optional Upload logs button in Settings. When you tap it, app logs are sent to your own Jellyfin server to help with troubleshooting. This never happens automatically, and logs are never sent anywhere else.
Sharing and retention
No personal data is shared with third parties, because none leaves your device except to your server. Everything cached locally — your login, library metadata, artwork, and recently played audio — stays under your control and is removed when you sign out or uninstall Finale.
Children
Finale is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from them.
